The leader tape is made of various polymer polyester films and processed by precision die-cutting process. It is mainly used in the front-end traction of semiconductor chip packaging reels (mainly used for strip-shaped chip packaging). According to the needs of the application scenario, the raw material must have excellent mechanical properties, rigidity, hardness, toughness, and must be resistant to puncture, friction, high and low temperature, chemicals, and oil. Several materials currently in use include PET polyester film, PI polyimide film, PEI polyetherimide film, and epoxy glass film.
